Hello Fancy Fall Friends,

Yep-Just a quick little update of some Wax Trax! artists related news…

As many of you are aware , Mr. Connelly, Mr. Barker and friends will be taking the stage again this weekend here in Chicago!
This is Year 2 for Cold Waves, the 2 day charity memorial event dedicated to Jamie Duffy, and will run this Friday and Saturday at Chicago’s Metro.
Along with the Cocks Members, fellow Wax Trax! alum, Die Warzau will be appearing with a long list of heavyweights.
You can still buy tickets and find out more about the cause as well as this year’s amazing line-up at

Speaking of Ex-Cocks…We are happy (but not surprised) about the exciting news for drummer and friend Bill Rieflin.
Bill just landed a drumming spot with Robert Fripp & his latest incarnation of King Crimson. We wish him tons of prog-rock success!
Now…if we could somehow just get Bill and Fripp to join Chris Connelly onstage during one of his “Sons Of The Silent Age” shows…I’m sure my dad, the ultimate Bowie fan, would shit in his grave with happiness.

Onto KMFDM news. Kapt’n K is storming the states again from late October through mid November. The “We Are KMFDM” tour will mark 3 decades of KMFDM and I’m sure Sascha and Co. will not disappoint.
You can check out when they’ll be coming to your US  town at their official site, as well as catch up on latest news on the band’s official facebook page.

The documentary is moving along as scheduled and October will be very busy as we head to the Big Apple for the next round of interviews.

Okay, and finally…Let’s talk collectables.
As many of you know, the Wax Trax! online store has been up and running for some time with amazing continued support from you, the fans.
We have been offering some nice things from the vault but have intentionally held back on some of the rarer items…until now.

We are going to start with a couple Ebay auctions and see how things go. The first 2 items are a couple of truly rare pieces that we hope you will enjoy:
1. Front 242-Original 1985 silk screen poster from the band’s 2nd US show at Medusas
2. Lead Into Gold-Original 1991 incredibly rare test pressing of Low And Slow. (Unreleased and not available ANYWHERE)

The ebay auction for these items is scheduled to start on 10/1. You can keep an eye on all waxtraxchicago auctions here

That’s it for now. Make sure you check into our twitter page for #waxtraxfriday, and as always, we would love you to join the conversation at the official Wax Trax! facebook group.
