Just a quick reminder for all you folks here in Chicago. Tonight’s Smart Bar event is gonna be a Wax Trax! shit kicker.
All WT! starting at 10p. After that, the Front 242 men will take over with their own Euro-stylings on the mixing board .
It will be a great night of music and old friends with Richard 23 & Patrick’s only US appearance this year.

Since we’ve been getting a lot of email questions about 242 items available tonight, just wanted to pass along the info to all. We will have various Front 242 and Wax Trax! shirts for purchase (sorry, no vinyl or CDs this time)

Not to leave out all the fans who can’t make it…we have put up the screen printed event poster at the Wax Trax! store. Only a few were made so we don’t expect them to last long.

CIMM Sunday 4/21/13

Hello People!

Just wanted to send out a quick email update about this weekend’s event.
We’re very excited for our Wax Trax/ CIMM event this Sunday in Chicago and can’t wait to see you all!
It will be a super casual conversation with old friends from the label and store.
Stories about my dad & Dannie, how the records were made, and what made the store tick.

Everyone with “free” tickets are guaranteed a space, all others are encouraged to come and you won’t be turned away. It is going to be a packed room in a very intimate (another word for small) space so be prepared to get cozy with other WT! fans.
So incase that wasn’t incentive enough to get there early, we are going to make this even more kick-ass.
To coin a phrase from Naked Raygun…FREE SHIT!
We will be handing out FREE raffle tickets to the first 50 people. Somewhere throughout the program we will be giving away not 1 but 3 Wax Trax! Records collector bags.

collectors-bag01

3.

If you’ve been waiting to get one…now is your chance (and no shipping fee!)

We didn’t think it would be right to leave the out of town folks out of the party, so…

During CIMMfest, from Friday through Sunday, we are going to put most of the KMFDM items from our Wax Trax! ONLINE STORE on sale at 20% off!
This way, while you are Killing Mother Fucking Depeche Mode, you can save a little $$$ in the process.
“White man, Black Man!”…well you know the rest.

In other news…

Front242_posterV2

We wanted to remind you all about the WAX TRAX! NIGHT at Chicago’s legendary Smart Bar in less then a month on Friday, May 10th.
The all Wax Trax! set by DJs Jena Max & Greg Haus will prime the night for FRONT 242′s seminal Belgians, Richard 23 & Patrick Codenys and their special DJ set and only US appearance.
We’re not sure what DJ moves they have planned for us but we have a hunch it will include some Electronics, some Bodies and probably some Music.
Advance tickets are on sale, or get ‘em at the door!
I know you have all seen the totally awesome event poster designed by supercorn, but we wanted to show you an extra limited run we did on translucent film. Only 30 in existence…Collectors…start your engines!
Jeeze…With all this WT! activity, people are going to think that Wax Trax! is up and running again ; )

FLA-Echo

In Front Line Assembly news, we’re happy to report that FLA has just wrapped up their new album, Echogenetic. Bill Leeb & Co. have, without fail, pushed forward as many of their peers have faded over the years. We are always excited to see what they will come up with next. I think I can speak for most fans when I say let’s hope that a tour is not far behind!

The Cold Waves event is back for another year. The memorial concert from 2012 dedicated to musician, Jamie Duffy’s passing, is scheduled this month at Chicago’s METRO with quite an impressive line-up.
Besides Chris & Paul busting out the Revolting Cocks set, there is a long list of genre heavy-weights to impress even the most jaded fan. This is a wonderful charity event to help HOPE FOR THE DAY.  We wish them much success in raising funds for this much overlooked cause.
You can read more and buy advanced tickets here.

The film documentary on the history of my dad & Dannie’s story is coming along famously but we still have a ton to do. For those of you who attend the CIMMfest discussion this Sunday, we will be showing a short trailer to wet your appetite.

That’s it for now. I’ll check in when I have more news for you all.

April Come She Will

Hello everybody-Happy April!

I’m trying to do these little news blasts on a more regular basis…So here I am (let’s hope you don’t get too sick of me)

A couple super-good things to report. Wax Trax! has been asked to participate in the upcoming CIMM fest later this month. This 4 day Chicago convention has been going strong for 5 years and does an amazing job at showcasing indie movies and music from all around the globe. (some of you may remember seeing Ministry’s FIX movie at CIMM the night before the Retrospectacle way back in 2011)
Our part in this year’s event should be interesting. I have gathered some key folks from both the label and store side of Wax Trax! Records. It will be a couple hours of music, visuals and an informal conversation and stories from the world of Wax Trax! as well as an audience Q&A.

waxtrax-web-large

Come join the Wax Trax! family:

Julia Nash:
Daughter of co-creator, Jim Nash and manager of the Lincoln Ave. & Damen Ave. record store

Long time Wax Trax! artist. In addition to a prolific solo career, Chris has been a key force in Acid Horse, PTP, Revolting Cocks, KMFDM and Ministry.
Ken Waagner:
Wax Trax! Director of Promotions during it’s early 90′s peak, including important releases by The KLF, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, and KMFDM.
Reid Hyams:
Studio guru and current Co-President of EARS. Responsible for recording many of the seminal Wax Trax! records at his studio, Chicago Trax.

Onto the Documentary:

This has been such a great experience so far. Things have been going really well! And if you happen to go to the above mentioned CIMM event, you just might get to see a nice little trailer for the upcoming film.
Note: Regressive Films will also be showing the WT! documentary trailer at a special CIMM screening for their feature fiction “Punk Rock Musical”, Sacrificial Youth on April 19.
We are still neck deep in the interviews and don’t have a proper release date yet but from what I can tell so far, this labour of love is going to be pretty great for the fans as well as anyone who ever wondered about the origin and demise of Wax Trax! Records. Besides the arching timeline, this is a story that crosses over into early punk culture, electronic pioneers, and changing the dance and club landscape forever.

__________

The Belgians are coming!

poster_242-Smartbar30th

Just a reminder about the special Wax Trax! night at Smart Bar early next month. Join us for a night on the dance floor to commemorate 30 years of the legendary Smart Bar. The night will start with an ALL Wax Trax! set by Audio Historian DJs Jena Max & Greg Haus. The night will continue with FRONT 242 electronic pioneers, Richard 23 & Patrick Codenys combining forces for their only US appearance (phew-I got through this whole description without ever saying “Industrial”, “EBM”, or “Dance Commandos”…Impressive!)
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, we will close out the night with…MORE WAX TRAX! till 4am!
There will be Wax Trax! and Front 242 merch the night of the event for all you out there who still need to look good on the dance floor.

Hmmm….What more do we have to report for you?

SexyEvilGenius_KA_JB02.RF-copy-405x571

Well…In TKK news, The band will be featured in the new indie film SEXY EVIL GENIUS. One of the film’s characters is a hardcore TKK fan who, in addition to being quite insane, recites lyrics & references the band non stop…or as we like to call it, a normal day around here. The classic “A Daisy Chain For Satan” is also featured in the film.
But that’s not all…on 4/9 Sleazebox Records is set to release HELLO ALONE by Groovie Mann side project, DARLING KANDEE.
In addition, the new Toxic Rainbow remix of KOOLER THAN JESUS will be available for download as well. So get on over to the TKK main site and

BE ONE OF THEM!

dva custom_usb

And…Anterior research & Clock DVA are taking pre-orders for the release “CLOCK 2″. This will be the band’s first new production material since 1996.  This edition will include audio, video, special remixes as well as an extensive 48pg. PDF  of text and images.
If the content is anything like the packaging. the 15+ year wait will have been well worth it.

Jourgensen_book

Also…I’m sure many of you are waiting with bated breath for the upcoming book from Uncle Al himself. This autobiography from Al Jourgensen will be a must read and we really can’t wait to compare all the stories against Chris Connelly’s book, “Concrete, Bulletproof, Invisible And Fried“.
Forget all the salacious stories about rock n’ roll excess….I think fans really want to know about Al giving me my first car ( a sweeeeeet little Karmann Ghia) and then my dad promptly spray painting giant boobs on the hood….ah, the memories.

That’s it for now.

Be sure to check out and post on our Facebook and twitter pages for all things Wax Trax! as well as the constantly updated Wax Trax! online store.  Many ultra limited out of print items from our vault as well as new reissued merch from some of our favorite Wax Trax! artists…Get ‘em while you can!

Talk to you soon,

What are you all doing this May?

Hello again…Wow-2 email updates within a week!

Front_242_02b

We have some breaking news to pass along to all you Wax Trax! & Front 242 fans here in Chicago (or fans wanting to travel to Chicago).
This Spring, Wax Trax! & Smart Bar presents Richard 23 & Patrick Codenys for a special one night only DJ set, here in their official home away from home.
We are very excited to bring these 2 luminaries in from Belgium to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Chicago’s legendary Smart Bar.
In addition to R23 & Patrick, the night will open with a complete Wax Trax! set by the always fabulous team of Jena Max & Greg Haus.
The event will be held on Friday, May 10th, 2013 with advance tickets available soon through the Smart Bar website or box office. Doors will open at 10p…And stay open until 4a!

We will keep you posted in the coming months of any new details. Book the babysitter, call in sick for work. This is a one time event you’re not gonna want to miss!

Also-Since announcing the documentary last week, we are happy to say, we have been flooded with emails, questions and support. If we haven’t replied to you, hang in there, we’re doing the best we can.
As we move forward, all communication to the film crew can be directed to regressivefilms@waxtraxchicago.com
In addition to our own archives, here is what the directors are looking for: homemade video footage of the store or other relevant locations (Medusas, Club 950, etc.) or shots of my Dad & Dannie in any setting… or WT! band footage that you have…Come on 80′s art school students-we know you’ve got some great stuff boxed away! We can’t make any promises on exactly what the directors will use. We’re just trying to help by putting the right people together.

That’s it for now. We are really excited, and will keep you updated.

Happy ‘El Presidente’ Day

Hello All-It’s me again.

For decades, there has been an unsung hero in the Wax Trax! family. Originally on the corner of Lill & Lincoln, a little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant near the store called “El Presidente” (or El Prez for short). This is where deals were made, drinks were spilled, 5 am chilaquiless devoured after last call at Club 950. It was just as important to Wax Trax! as any recording studio or venue. Over time, my dad’s nickname became “El Presidente” and he even had the words engraved on his bowling ball (My Dad was a WICKED bowler!). It was also the last restaurant that we ate at together. Just a little history for you all on this “El Presidente” day…maybe I’ll see you there sometime.

Well some things have happened since my last message to you.

Not to dwell on older (tragic) news…As all of you know by now, there was another profound loss to the music world. At the end of December, Mike Scaccia passed away on stage of a heart attack. I don’t think I need to tell anyone what Mike brought to Ministry (& of course Rigor Mortis) over the years.
In our opinion, his contributions were pivotal to Ministry’s success in the 90′s by steering it into a much heavier direction.
We wanted to highlight the continued effort by Scaccia’s close friend and Rigor Mortis bandmate, Bruce Corbitt to raise funds for Mike’s wife and children.
You can read more about Mike here, as well as contribute directly to his surviving family here (If you were ever influenced by Ministry’s Psalm 69-Here is a meaningful way to say thanks!)
Our continued thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Other artist related news:
-If you missed Chris Connelly’s transformation into the Thin White Duke last month, you missed a truly incredible show!
Chris was at his best, and his collaboration with Shirley Manson, Matt Walker was punctuated by an unbelievable backing band. We could not have imagined a better performance.
It raised a nice bit of funds for the charity, Pablove Foundation/Rock For Kids. The band just added an encore show for March 7th at the Mayne stage. You can get all the info here.

Bowie-Connelly

Also…
-Kapt’n K is kicking off the KMFDM US tour next month in support of their new album “KUNST”. They will begin in Portland, OR. and are scheduled to be through Chicago 3/23 at the House Of Blues to RIP THE SYSTEM!!! ;)
-Also worth noting, a new solo album from Underworld’s Karl Hyde will be available soon. The album containing 9 new tracks will be released in April with a handful of live UK shows preceding street date.
-COIL is in the process of figuring out what will happen next with the band and archived material. You can follow current updates from the remaining members, as well as all Threshhold House projects here

Moving onto that perpetual big question about that little DVD. Well, we’ve been working on it for, I don’t know…2 years or so! (I LOVE the facebook comment… Retrospectacle 35 1/6!). Like I said before, we’re still taking our production schedule queues from the director and her crew. We have full faith in their vision. When they tell us it’s ready, we’ll keep you posted….Let’s just hope that it doesn’t turn from “Retrospectacle 33 1/3″  to “Retrospectacle 45″.
There IS one very positive thing that has come out of waiting.  We have taken this “down time” to work on a detailed look at the origins of the store & label, as well as my Dad, Dannie and their road from young music obsessed gay hillbillies, to the taste makers who gave a voice to many of us that just didn’t quite fit in.
It will also cover the bankruptcy as well as what led to the demise. This will be family, employee, and artist interviews, as well as home video footage and never before seen images from the Wax Trax! vault.
This is very different from the concert event project. With this, we are much more active and hands on. We are very excited to tell the personal story of my Dad & Dannie as well as the rise and fall of Wax Trax! Records. So far,the interviews have been fantastic!

WT_collage_01
We are thrilled to be working with an extremely talented team. We tapped them for their thorough and engaging 2009 Chicago Punk documentary,” You Weren’t There“.
(If you care at all about Chicago underground music and art during the late 70′s, I cannot recommend this film enough)
This is where you all come in. If you happen to have any of your own footage or images from your days at the Wax Trax! store…or early band footage… or from Medusas…Metro/Smart Bar, etc., They want to hear from you.
We will have detailed info in the coming months of who to contact if you have anything that would fit into the WT!  story.

WaxTrax-Products_Opus-242-FLA

Finally, we’d like to thank all of you who have purchased items through our Wax Trax! online store. Some of the collectables have sold out, but don’t worry, we’re still adding new treasures from our archives. We wanted to pass along some merch news that we’re very excited about. As I’ve mentioned before, we’ve been working hard with a few of the past Wax Trax artists to bring you official new and reissued designs. Our newest artist to get reacquainted with is one of my dad’s all time favorites… Laibach.
Our printer, Replica Chicago, has done an amazing job with the production on our stock, some of which have not been available for decades.
In addition, we are also rolling out wholesale pricing on the new stock for all you mom and pop stores and clubs out there. You can request info on ordering details here.

That’s it for now. If you follow us on Twitter, don’t forget to participate on #waxtraxfridays and be sure to stop by our Facebook group for all things Wax Trax!.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Okay-Let’s get this out of the way first…Because the production team is currently working closest with the RETROSPECTACLE documentary, we thought it would be important to include a statement from the film’s super-fab director:

Hello WaxTrax fans! We at Team Wax Trax are still hard at work making the absolute best film possible. We’re glad you’re excited to see the finished Wax Trax Records Retrospectacle film – we are too! Film making can be a long, unpredictable process, especially given the amount of footage we have to work with. We refuse to compromise quality and I assure you the film will be worth the wait. When we have a firm release date we will let you know!

Shayna

We echo the director’s thoughts. At the end of the day, we want to bring you the best product possible.

In the meantime, we have gone ahead and posted some TKK footage on our VIDEO PAGE. This might be a bit misleading since this is an extra song and won’t appear in the final edit, but…Nervous Xians has always been a personal favorite and we wanted to share it with you all (maybe some of you will be able to pick yourself out of the crowd!)

Speaking of TKK…We are excited that Groovie Mann, Mr. McCoy & Co. will be back in Chicago this weekend. Their latest “Back From Beyond” tour picks up this week in the Midwest and we look forward to seeing them at Bottom Lounge this Saturday 10/13. We hope some of you can join us! You can find the show details here.

I know this is older news but since the last time I wrote, I’m sorry to say we’ve lost another friend. As many of you already know, Jamie Duffy, Long time Chicago musician and fellow artist onstage with Connelly, Barker, Van Acker, Buford and Brill last year, passed away earlier this year. Jamie was crucial in recreating from scratch most of the samples and music that were used for the Revolting Cocks songs during the Retrospectacle. It would have been a completely different show (or no show at all) had he not been involved both on stage and behind the scenes.
Last month, a sold out benefit concert was organized. The 13 band lineup was an amazing bill…created in response to a not so amazing circumstance.
We know the Retrospectacle lineup, sans Van Acker, were honored to close out the night playing most of the Revco songs they had performed with Jamie last year.
The outpouring of support encouragement was wonderful but not surprising considering Jamie’s contribution around Chicago.
You can find more about Jamie and the past event at coldwaves.net as well as read a touching piece by fellow artist and friend, Jim Marcus about Jamie at RE GEN.

We know it’s a little ways away, but if you’re a Chris Connelly fan (And come on-Who isn’t!) it’s never too early to start making plans. On January 12th, 2013, Chris will be channeling the Thin White Duke himself for an all Bowie show at Metro to benefit the Pablove Foundation, . This is the show Chris was meant to do (and we’re a little shocked that he hasn’t done this before!) You can read more about the details at chrisconnelly.com. There is NO way we are going to miss this one…and neither should you!

Some of you may have noticed us expanding OUR STORE with new items. Yes-we are still adding original collectables but what we are really excited about is working closely with some of our past artists to bring you official reissued and new merch designs! Our first run will be with Front 242. We are currently offering the “Official Warfare” shirt again but look for more designs like these coming in the next few weeks.
Speaking of next few weeks….We have a gift for all you mega collectors.
For my Dad’s B-day on Oct. 25th we thought it would be nice to mark the occasion Jim Nash style. For one week, from 10/18-10/25, everything in our store will be 20% off!
Just punch in the following code at checkout:
RIPTHESYSTEM

Thanks everyone, that’s it for now.

Don’t forget to participate every Friday by adding your favorite WT song at #waxtraxfriday and join the conversation of all things Wax Trax! on our facebook group page

Let’s hope it doesn’t take as long before the next email blast.

Anybody wondering about the Retrospectacle film?

Hey All!
It’s me again, checking in with a little WAX TRAX! news.

Okay…Let’s get right to the point. Yes, we have received all your emails regarding questions about the Retrospectacle film project and DVD release. Instead of replying privately, we thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know what is going on.
In a few days, we will officially be at the one year mark since the event. We totally appreciate all the fan support and continued interest behind the film’s massive undertaking (a couple of you got a little grumpy with us…but hey-we understand, you just want to see the WT! artists that you love)

To be fair, I feel I must share a little of the context from which we are working, to better explain the current status.
I, with a core group of 4 other people, have spent the last couple years working to piece together what my father and Dannie labored so hard to build. As some of you may know, the label had been discarded and left for dead some years ago by TVT. It has been a bit of a challenge rebuilding their legacy and putting as many pieces back in place as possible.
Aside from the dense film logistics and inevitable production headaches, there has been extensive (and slow-going) legal work, as well as endless time spent archiving and preserving the physical historic memorabilia of Wax Trax!. In other words, there is a bigger picture that we are trying to recreate behind the scenes. The film is an important piece in that larger picture, but time & effort are divided with a couple other important Wax Trax! projects that will be unveiled at a later date.
I say this not as an excuse, but to better explain the process to fans who are waiting for the end result without knowing the full back-story.

So…let’s get to where we’re at now.
The concert footage is a little over 70% edited in rough cuts and we’re still picking through the interviews and deciding what makes the most sense to tell the best story of this event.
Since many hands are working on this, as basically volunteers, we can’t be too demanding on our production people. We don’t have a set date yet. I will say however, that it will be entered into film festivals first, and then the DVD will be released.
I expect that in the upcoming weeks we will slowly leak out a finished song or two, just to give you a preview and show you all where we’re going with this.

Okay, on to less complicated news…you spoke and we heard you.
After the flood of emails, a couple of new Wax Trax! logo shirts are now available through the Wax Trax! store.
We have also been working hard to update some of the other rare collectables. Little by little we are hoping to add promo items and fill in the catalog as much as possible…we hope you like ‘em.

That’s it for now. We will check back in a few weeks to let you know where we stand and hopefully have more good news about the film.

Hey…Just Checkin’ In

Hello people!
I hope you all had a great December and fun New Year.
It was pretty busy around here and even though we had a great Christmas, we’re really happy to start moving forward into 2012. Before we start spinning into the year, we wanted to check in with recent happenings since we last spoke.

On a somber note, we wanted to pass along some sad news and express our condolences to the family of Jeff “Critter” Newell. For those who are unfamiliar with his work, Critter was an early fixture in the Wax Trax! family. Besides credit on countless independent and major label projects,  Jeff worked behind the scenes to help craft Wax Trax! staples such as 1,000 Homo DJs, Lead Into Gold, Revolting Cocks, as well as helping shape the sound on Ministry’s Landmark albums, “The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste” and “Psalm 69″. His contribution to music was wide and deep.
Critter passed away on December 31 at his home in Southern California. He was 45.

I wanted to follow up on our post from last month. We have finally added a few more collectables to our store as well as a couple new Wax Trax! shirts. If all goes well, we should have a some more original pressings and goodies to offer sometime in February. We’ll keep you updated.

In artist related news, we have a couple of notes about Ministry.
For those who haven’t heard, Mr. Jourgensen is coming out of retirement this year. Ministry will be playing 4 US  cities this upcoming Fall with a few European date to follow. Tickets won’t go on sale for a while but now you’ve got time to make those travel plans.
You can find out more detailed info on the official Ministry Facebook page

Speaking of Ministry…Here are a few songs they probably won’t play on the new tour: New audio has just been uploaded onto You Tube of full tracks from the earliest known recorded Ministry show. The 4 tracks are from the March 1982 show at Misfits in Chicago. There are some different takes of old classics..as well as unreleased material. The quality is quite good for a small club recording and is highly suggested for any early era Ministry fan.

Cold Life
Overkill
Funkamental
I’m Falling

If any of you find yourself in Chicago next week looking for a dance floor to occupy, Berlin Nightclub will be hosting their seasonal Wax Trax! Showcase on Jan. 20th. DJs Greg Haus & Jena Max will once again treat us to their vast WT! knowledge with an onslaught of music and video…. They do an amazing job at keeping the Wax Trax! catalog spinning here in Chicago. All Wax Trax! All night.

Last but not least…since this IS Friday. Feel free to head on over to our Twitter page and participate in Wax Trax! Friday. Post your favorite song & video from the label or even new music and artists you found through the store. It’s a place that once a week Wax Trax! fans run the show.

That’s it for now….No we haven’t forgotten about the film/DVD, just nothing to report yet.

Talk to you soon!

…The prince of Belgium

Hello People!

-Wanted to check in with you all and share a few things that are happening with some of our favorite artists.

Just released is a really nice documentary of Mr. Luc van Acker done for Belgium TV….Of course it’s primarily in Flemish but for all us non-Flemish speaking folks, we have some great vintage footage of Luc to check out…As well as some great comments from Richard 23, Paul Barker and Chris Connelly (filmed during the Retrospectacle weekend).

you can find the Youtube link Here

Also- For all the Chris Connelly fans out there, be sure to check out his latest CD, “Artificial Madness” it’s fantastic!  He will be kicking off the release of the new album with a live show on Dec. 8th at the Hideout in Chicago.  Hope to see you there!
You will find details and directions on the Hideout website.

Okay-I know this has been out there for a while, but wanted to mention an interview with a nice deconstruction of Ministry’s “The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste”. The Nov. issue of DECIBEL magazine has Chris, Paul, Al and Bill talk about what was going on behind the scenes during the evolution of this pivotal landmark album.

You can read more about the interview here

Last but not least….This past April’s Wax Trax! Retoespectacle has been nominated for concert of the year on legendary Chicago radio station WXRT.
We already KNOW that it was the best concert event of the year (…maybe the decade!) but if you want to show the world your Wax Trax! love, feel free to vote for us
on the WXRT listener’s poll

That’s it for now. Be sure to keep an eye out for new and additional vintage merch at our store starting in mid December (including one of our classic shirt designs from back in in the day)

Have a great holiday week and good luck surviving a food coma on the 24th,

Retrospectacle-Film update

Hello All,
It’s been a while, and since we’ve been getting a ton of private emails regarding the status of our film project/DVD, we wanted to address all the messages at once and update everyone on how it’s going.

Well…Things actually came to a grinding halt over the past few weeks, due to a personnel change in the editing process. Over time it became clear to us that working with the original editor wasn’t going to be a good fit. Even though our goals may not have been in line with each others, we wish him much success with his future projects.
As disappointing as it is to be behind schedule, we are very excited to be working with a new editor, and moving this beast back on track.
There is a total of 54 hours of footage to edit down, so we still have a ton of work ahead of us.
Unfortunately, we don’t expect there to be a finished product before the end of the year, but we are working to at least post a trailer or some rough cuts as soon as possible.

As always, we will keep you updated on any changes. Thanks again to everyone for all their kind words and patients while waiting.

On another topic…
We’re excited to mention that longtime Wax Trax! artist, Chris Connelly has just recorded a new album and is planning a Nov.08 release.
Plain and simple…this is a great album with heavy post-punk influences.
We will let you check out a sample track for yourself…but if you like The Fall, Gang of Four or Killing Joke, you will not be disappointed.

-Hope everyone has a great week, talk to you soon!
